Field Days – Health & Safety Information

The Ahuwhenua Trophy complies with all current Health and Safety legislation, regulations and Government directives.

The owners of the finalist property advise that, as this is a working orchard, potential hazards exist when travelling around the property by vehicle and when moving through facilities.

While all reasonable steps have been taken to ensure your visit is as safe as possible — including the preparation of a Health and Safety Plan for the day — entry to the property is at your own risk.

The property owners accept no responsibility for any accident, injury, or damage to persons or property during your visit.

Your Responsibilities

Please take personal responsibility for your safety and comfort:

  • Wear closed-toe footwear
  • Dress appropriately for all weather conditions (hat, warm clothing, wet weather gear, sunscreen)
  • Follow all instructions provided on the day

Protect Our Industry

To help prevent the spread of disease, pests, and weeds:

  • Arrive with clean boots
  • Ensure vehicles are clean before entering the property
